Taking a Look at the Book Signing

On November 2nd a group of about 45 people came to the bookstore of the C.G. Jung Institute of Los Angeles for the occasion of the publication of my book Sea Glass: A Jungian Analyst’s Exploration of Suffering and Individuation. People I hadn’t seen in many years came and they bought the book and I signed each one to fit the person it was for. There was much joy while people strolled around on the patio admiring the food provided by the Institute. The flowers were gorgeous and the cake modeled after the cover of my book Sea Glass was delicious. We then moved into the James Kirsch Meeting Room where I read from my book and talked a little to the group, many of whom I knew.

At 5 p.m., another group had formed and the ritual of signing and reading repeated itself.

It was a fun and informal afternoon and everyone had a great time and many many books flew off the shelves—they were signed and taken home to enjoy.
